Webinar Description:
Delivering vibration data digitally allows waveforms, FFT spectra, and calculated vibration metrics to move seamlessly into existing control, enterprise, and cloud systems. In this session, Wilcoxon’s expert team will explain how Modbus, OPC UA, and MQTT each enable vibration data delivery, showing how these protocols handle everything from targeted monitoring to full-scale analytics.
We’ll cover the characteristics of each protocol, how they transmit vibration data, and the role they play at operations, enterprise, and cloud levels. Join us to understand how digital protocols make vibration data more accessible and useful across your organization.
In this webinar you will learn:
1. How vibration data (waveforms, spectra, and overall metrics) is transmitted over Modbus, OPC UA, and MQTT.
2. Practical differences in how each protocol enables monitoring at the operations, enterprise, and cloud levels.
3. How to balance comprehensive data output with practical subsets tailored to your monitoring goals.
4. Ways to extend vibration data use cases — from trending and alarming to predictive analytics, digital twins, and vibration SaaS platforms.
