WEBINAR DESCRIPTION:

ISO 10816-1 and 10816-3 have been the de facto standards for the evaluation of machine vibration for many years. Every condition monitoring practitioner will have referred to these standards for the evaluation of vibration severity, acceptance testing and/or setting database alarms. Whilst ISO 10816-1 has been succeeded by 20816-1 the replacement for ISO 10816-3 is yet to be released.
We take this opportunity to introduce a panel of vibration experts to discuss their experience in utilising these standards; their benefits, limitations, and the considerations to make them most effective in different applications and industries.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS

Matthew Moore BSc (Hons) is the Global Subject Matter Expert in Condition Monitoring for Petrofac. He has over 25 years of experience in the field of vibration and condition monitoring and is a certified Mobius Institute ISO 18436-2 Category IV vibration analyst and training partner.

Rao Vamsidhar is a Deputy General Manager, Power Enginner Maintance Departmen, has over 22 years in Rotating equipment manteance vibration analysis field, He has a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Enginnering and is a certified Mobius Institute ISO Category IV vibration analyst.

Rao Vamsidhar is a Maintenance Manager having a rich experience of 20 years in the rotating machinery field. He has begun his career as a Management Trainee in Power Engineering Maintenance department in Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, India in 1998 and successfully progressed and elevated to the position of Assistant General Manager in 2016. Throughout his career he is involved in the maintenance, condition monitoring and vibration analysis of high-speed rotating machinery from turbines to balance of plant machinery.
He completed his Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University and Master of Business Administration (Finance) from ICFAI UNIVERSITY, INDIA. He is a certified Category IV vibration analyst from Mobius Institute and Certified Reliability Leader (CRL) from The Association of Asset Management Professionals (AMP) and a member of Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals (SMRP). He attended IMVAC-2016 INAUGURAL CONFERENCE held in Orlando, Florida and presented case studies in IMVAC MIDDLE EAST 2017 AND IMVAC EUROPE 2017
He has been awarded Jawaharlal Nehru Award, highest recognition for best performance in Visakhapatnam Steel Plant in the year 2015. He is the 1st Indian to be certified as Cat IV vibration analyst from Mobius Institute in the year 2015.
