Webinar Description:
The motor current signature analysis, although relatively new compared to conventional condition monitoring systems, has proven itself to identify developing faults of motor-driven systems. In particular, the fact that it does not require any sensor installation on the equipment has made the motor current signature analysis popular day by day while also allowing the monitoring of hard-to-reach equipment.
While research on motor condition monitoring systems continues, adding voltage information to the motor current signature analysis has taken it further. This Model-Based Voltage and Current Analysis Technology combines voltage and current inputs of the motor to create a digital tween of the motor. This approach makes fault detection more accurate and predictable up to 6 months in advance.
In this webinar, we will talk about the crucial parameters of Model-Based Voltage and Current Analysis Technology. How electrical signals can be used to detect electrical and mechanical faults of motors and motor driven equipment from the MCC panel and generates automatic diagnostic reports and alarms while power meter functionality helps energy efficiency increase on the motors.
