Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, the Reliability Inspector will be responsible for implementing and/or management of the overall mechanical integrity program. The Inspector works closely with Operations and Maintenance to schedule and perform inspections necessary to keep Kennewick Fertilizer Operations running safely and efficiently.

What you will do:

Pressure equipment and tank inspection and documentation, including corrosion monitoring of vessels and pressure piping systems
Performing and documenting Positive Material Verification using Handheld XRF
Specifying inspection requirements for equipment installation and repair
Shutdown / turnaround planning and coordinating
Maintain applicable certifications (National Board Commission with I Endorsement; Washington State Special Inspector Commission, API 570 and 653)
Inspection contractor coordination and management
Incident investigation team leader/member
Technical report writing
Data entry using Visions
Manage the site Washington State Vessel Owner-User Program

What you will bring:

5 years inspection and/or mechanical integrity experience in an industrial setting
Possess or qualify to obtain National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors Commission with I and R endorsements
Possess or qualify to obtain Washington State Special Inspector Commission
Possess or qualify to obtain API 653 and 570 Commissions
Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Visions and SAP
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of techniques to perform Root Cause Failure Analyses
Knowledge of ASME Code Sections (Sec I, II, IV, V, VIII, IX, 31.1, 31.3 etc.)
Knowledge of Risk Based Inspection (RBI) theory and practices
Familiarity with End of Life calculations for vessels/piping
Familiarity with Washington State Owner-User Program implementation
