Work with the Engineering and Factory Teams to develop Machine Competency Mapping templates for all Operators and Mechanics
Lead and Manage reoccurring calls with factories and OEM’s to support execution of Engineering Academy Master Plan
Work with Digital Transformation Teams to develop and strengthen SOP training content for more effective use of remote troubleshooting
Receive shop floor feed-back from the Factories, Asset Care Team and Asset Reliability Engineers to support Continuous Improvement of Engineering Academy Content
Ensure the completion of Pre and Post-Mortems on all major events related to Engineering Academy to ensure Continuous Improvement of content development and quality of content delivered
Support Reliability Centered Maintenance by developing and maintaining a digital library of all tasks for all machine centers with documented SOP’s or Training Video for Self-Learning of Associates
Responsible to support Factory Escalations both proactively and reactively to ensure Development of Self and Associates through Coaching, Training and Feedback.
Incorporate BDA’s and Engineering Notices into Engineering Academy by assisting Factories and Reliability Team in developing content to share learnings
Travel of up to 25% may be required to achieve desired level of Factory Support and Successful closure of activities and escalations.
Key qualifications include:
Requirements and qualifications for this position include an Engineering Degree or Certificate(s) in Maintenance or Education, Project Management in Industrial Maintenance, Advanced Technical Writing or equivalent work experience in a high speed packaging environment
Cross Functional hands on mechanical and process exposure across multiple machine centers.
Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge and exposure of Digital Imaging and Videography editing for the development of training content
Innovative Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to try new ideas, develop solutions and communicate to Market
Advanced knowledge to use Microsoft Suite (Windows 10) MS Project, Video Editing Software for managing and communicating activities
Demonstrated Advanced Technical Writing Capability with the ability to interpret complex tasks into a logical step by step execution plan in a written or visual work instruction
Knowledge and exposure to RCM, TPM, BDA and various other problem solving methodologies
Self-Starter and is able to manage time to achieve expected results to meet deadlines with minimal oversite or leadership
Able to effectively communicate and follow up through Phone – Text – E-mail
Ability to assist factories in troubleshooting during and after hours via SKYPE – Phone – Text
Must have a Flexible travel schedule
